The march from Piazza della Libertà to Piazza Risorgimento ended without incidents. Organisers called for "an alternative model of student representation".

The right-wing student groups Azione Studentesca and Azione Universitaria marched in Rome on 24-10-2026 under the slogan "Sblocchiamo tutto" ("Unblock everything"), a reply to the "Blocchiamo tutto" ("Block everything") slogan of the left-wing student protests. The march ran from Piazza della Libertà to Piazza Risorgimento in the Prati district and ended without incidents, RomaToday reported.

The organisers said they wanted to offer "an alternative model of student representation" and proposed cheaper textbooks, less university bureaucracy, checks on false income declarations for scholarships and more protection for interns, according to their joint statement. Rome locked down its luxury shopping streets ahead of the right-wing student march and a separate anti-war march, AP reported.
